Chumphon: BAM, in collaboration with the Thai Red Cross Society, continues the Home and Hope project for the fifth year, providing houses to the underprivileged in Chumphon Province. Mr. Surasak Muangnoi, Director of Asset Development for the Upper Southern Region, Mr. Watcharin Kruedang, Surat Thani Office Manager, along with staff from Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Public Company Limited (BAM), Mr. Thianchai Chukittiwibul, Governor of Chumphon Province, Mrs. Phannakorn Chukittiwibul, President of the Chumphon Red Cross Society, and local administrative organizations, delivered BAM houses under the Home and Hope project, ‘Housing Development for the Underprivileged in Society, in Honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Vice President of the Thai Red Cross Society, on the auspicious occasion of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 70th Birthday Anniversary,’ to Mrs. Sommai Sakphukeaw, located in Khao Thalu Subdistrict, Sawi District, Chumphon Province.
According to Thai News Agency, the Home and Hope project is now in its fifth year, in collaboration with the Red Cross Society Administration Office, Thai Red Cross Society, and provincial Red Cross chapters. The project aims to support the resolution of housing issues, a crucial foundation for life. The project focuses on providing assistance to the poor, the disadvantaged, and vulnerable groups, such as the elderly and the disabled, to ensure they have stable, secure, and sustainable homes and a better quality of life.
