Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister, made a swift appearance in Parliament, staying for just 40 minutes before departing to attend to other commitments. He offered minimal comments about the cabinet list, telling reporters to "wait." During his brief visit, he was approached by Kanwi Sipsang, an MP from the Tham Tham Party, to discuss "nationality taxes."
According to Thai News Agency, upon his arrival at Parliament, Prime Minister Anutin did not engage with the media and proceeded directly to the chamber, where discussions on the Bankruptcy Act had been concluded by the Standing Committee. In the meeting room, he was greeted by Mr. Kanwi, who initiated a brief conversation by raising his hands in a wai.
Following his conversation with Mr. Kanwi, the Prime Minister interacted with Bhumjaithai Party MPs and then took a personal phone call from his seat. Approximately 40 minutes later, at 2:02 PM, Mr. Anutin left the premises. When pressed by reporters about the cabinet list's submission to His Majesty, he simply responded with "wait."
Questions regarding the Bhumjaithai Party's popularity, especially with members from Chumphon Province joining the party, were met with a smile from Mr. Anutin, who refrained from further comment. When asked about Mr. Chumpol Chulasai's application for party membership, his reaction was a brief "What?" before stating he had other errands to run and leaving promptly in his car.
