A young Burmese man killed a junk buyer after he was angry that he stole a fighting cock to boil.

A Burmese man was arrested for stabbing a secondhand goods seller 9 times, causing his death, after he was angry that the deceased had stolen a fighting cock to boil. Police are interrogating him further before sending him to Nonthaburi Provincial Court for detention tomorrow (July 3). The Bang Bua Thong Police Investigation Unit arrested Mr. A, nicknamed Mr. Yam, 38 years old, a Myanmar national, a suspect with an arrest warrant from the Nonthaburi Provincial Court for intentional murder, along with seizing evidence of 1 pair of scissors and 1 piece of plywood after Mr. A, the suspect, used scissors to stab Mr. Rachen, 40 years old, to death in his hut with 9 wounds on his neck and left arm, 5-6 cm long, before fleeing. The police took him to reenact the crime at 3 locations: the first location was where Mr. Ek, the perpetrator, went to ask for the deceased but could not find him; the second location was at the hut under the bridge over Khlong Lam Pho, Tambon Bang Bua Thong, Amphoe Bang Bua Thong, Nonthabu ri Province, where the suspect stabbed the deceased; and the third location was on the canal bank behind the Chao Pho Chui Shrine, 5 km from the scene of the crime. Today, Pol. Col. Phrut Chamroonsan, Superintendent of Bang Bua Thong Police Station, brought Mr. A in for additional questioning before taking him to the Nonthaburi Provincial Court for detention tomorrow (July 3). Mr. A looked stressed during the police interrogation and gave a brief interview to the media saying that he felt stressed. He had warned the deceased several times about stealing things, but the deceased did not listen, which made him angry and led to an argument.
