The Vietnamese Embassy in Cuba held a ceremony in Havana on August 29 to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day (September 2, 1945-2024). Attending the event were member of the Communist Party of Cuba's Politburo, Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba Álvaro López Miera, member of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee, Vice President of the National Assembly of the People's Power Ana María Mari Machado, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Carlos Fernández de Cossío, among others.
