The governor of Ubon Ratchathani has ordered preparation of a place to accommodate villagers if they need to move their belongings after the Mekong River rose and overflowed its banks, pushing the tributaries around the village, turning it into an island. Ubon Ratchathani Province has begun to be affected. The Mekong River has risen and pushed into the Huai Bang Koi River. Six households have already been affected. In Ban Pha Chan, the Mekong River has flooded the village entrance road until it became an island. The Ubon Ratchathani Governor has ordered preparation of a place to accommodate people who need to move their belongings. In Pho Sai District, the Mekong River has flooded the village entrance and exit bridge by about 50 centimeters and 200 meters, making it impossible for small vehicles to travel.
