Bangkok: Thammanat Prompao, Member of Parliament for Phayao Province, stated he does not know Lawyer Tum and has never spoken with him personally. He clarified his presence at a law office opening was due to an invitation from a younger sibling who works in the community and wanted to congratulate him on his appointment as Deputy Minister. According to Thai News Agency, Colonel Thammanat addressed the controversy surrounding his attendance at his wife's birthday and the opening of Sittra Biabangkerd's, also known as Lawyer Tum, law office. He explained that while his younger sibling invited him, he was not personally close to Lawyer Tum, and the event held no personal significance. He emphasized that it was his first meeting with Lawyer Tum and has had no contact since. When questioned about Lawyer Tum's frequent claims of knowing influential figures, Colonel Thammanat reaffirmed that he has no relationship with Lawyer Tum and has never engaged in a personal conversation with him.
