According to Thai News Agency, the event commenced at 09.00 on November 9, with Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra leading the merit-making ceremony. The event also saw the presence of Mr. Phonphum Wiphatiphumphat, Assistant Minister to the Ministry of Culture, and Ms. Chanida Wiphatiphumphat, Member of the Bangkok Council for Khan Na Yao District. The gathering included Mr. Panthongtae Shinawatra, Mr. Thaksin's son, and his family, along with prominent political figures such as Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Ms. Thirarat Samretwanich, and Mr. Surachit Pongsingwittaya. The ceremony attracted high-profile attendees like Mr. Sermsak Pongpanich, Mr. Pong sak Raktapongpaisan, Lt. Col. During the ceremony, Mr. Thaksin presented a Kathin robe and a palm leaf fan embroidered with his name, "Dr. Thaksin Shinawatra, former Prime Minister." The total donations collected during the event amounted to approximately 2.2 million baht, highlighting the community's enthusiastic participation in the merit-making tradition.
