At 11.15 a.m., Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, held bilateral discussions with His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar. The Qatari Prime Minister congratulated the youngest female Prime Minister on his visit to Qatar, expressed confidence in the Prime Minister's leadership, and said Qatar is ready to expand economic cooperation to develop mutual potential and is ready to cooperate in partnership in technology and education to further develop both countries. The Emir of Qatar expressed his condolences over the flooding in Thailand, saying that Thailand and Qatar have an excellent relationship.
