Chiang Mai: Chiang Mai Province is set to present hand-woven cotton garments adorned with intricate "Siriwachiraphon" and "Dok Rak Ratchakan" motifs to the Prime Minister and Cabinet members for their upcoming mobile Cabinet meeting. According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Sasikarn Wattanachan, Deputy Government Spokesperson, announced that for the official Cabinet meeting scheduled outside the office tomorrow, Chiang Mai has readied these special shirts for Prime Minister Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra and her Cabinet. The shirts are crafted from cotton dyed with natural lac, giving them a pinkish-purple hue, synonymous with Phayap Province. They feature royal embroidery patterns to signify loyalty, alongside a swan in a lantern motif, a symbol of Chiang Mai. These garments are produced by the Amphan Cotton Career Group, a renowned 5-star OTOP enterprise in Hod District, Chiang Mai. Ms. Sasikarn further detailed the menu for the Cabinet dinner, highlighting local delicacies such as Khao Soi, Nam Phrik Num, and Han g Le Gaeng. Desserts will include Crispy Ruby and Avocado Ice Cream, while snacks like Saku Sai Moo and Spicy Rice Crackers will be served, sourced from various esteemed local eateries. The mobile Cabinet meeting is themed 'From Flood to Flourish,' aiming to revitalize prosperity post-flood. It will showcase the natural beauty of Doi Inthanon National Park, including the Phra Makha That Naphamethinidon Naphaphonphumisiri and the Siriphum Waterfall. This event underscores the cultural heritage of Chiang Mai and symbolizes a beacon of hope and prosperity for the region, as it anticipates tourist influx during the winter high season. The meeting venue will also feature decorations of celebrated OTOP community products from Chiang Mai Province.
