Ms. Kanika Unjit, Deputy Government Spokesperson, revealed that the Cabinet resolved to acknowledge the 5th off-site Cabinet meeting of 2024 in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and to follow up on the inspection of the upper central provinces, including Chainat, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Sing Buri, and Ang Thong, during 19-20 August 2024. The command has assigned missions as follows: Important inspection issues include creating a production base for agricultural products, high-value health foods that are environmentally friendly, upgrading high-value tourism with technology and innovation on the basis of responsible tourism, increasing the value of the industrial and service supply chain in the future, managing natural resources, the environment, and energy with sust ainable participation, promoting the development of the industrial sector in the area, and systematic water management to solve flood and drought problems. Assign the Cabinet to visit the upper central region provinces to follow up on the implementation of government policies and the problems of the people in the area. In this regard, the National Economic and Social Development Board will collect data from the Cabinet's visits. Assigned Pol. Gen. Patcharawat Wongsuwan, Deputy Prime Minister, who oversees and monitors the performance of duties in the upper central region provinces, to chair the integrated development meeting of the upper central region provinces together with government agencies and related units to present issues and agendas for the development of the group of provinces to the cabinet meeting officially outside the office. In this regard, the National Economic and Social Development Board, the Cabinet Secretariat, the Budget Bureau, and the Ministry of Interior were assigned to be the secr etariat. Organizing Cabinet Meetings and Cabinet Meeting Agenda: Assign the Cabinet Secretariat to prepare the venue for Cabinet meetings, conduct meetings, and collect and filter project proposals and plans for the upper central region group of provinces to be presented at Cabinet meetings. The Prime Minister's inspection of the Prime Minister's Office has assigned the Office of the Prime Minister to collaborate with the Ministry of Interior to schedule the Prime Minister's overall inspection of the Prime Minister between 19 - 20 August 2024. Facilitation: Assign the Office of the Prime Minister's Secretariat to coordinate with the provinces and relevant agencies to prepare and facilitate the accommodation of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, travel, and the overall schedule of the Prime Minister. Listening to the people's problems and grievances, assigning the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Prime Minister's Office to coordinate with the Damrongtham Center, Ministry of Interior to take care of rece iving complaints and grievances of the people. Public relations: Assign the Public Relations Department, Spokesperson Office, and Ministry Spokesperson to carry out public relations and create awareness among the public.
