Heavy rains that fell almost all night caused the water flooding the border of Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province to rise and flow rapidly. Villagers who have been stuck in floodwater for 4 days have difficulty entering and leaving the area. Officials are still rushing to transport people out of the flooded area continuously.
