After the Navy SEALs rescued the elderly and a 3-month-old child to safety, they continued their mission with rubber boats to transport food and patients out of the area yesterday (September 12) amid strong currents. Another point in Mae Sai, Chiang Rai Province, is the joint effort of the Phitsanulok Rescue Unit, the SEAL Unit, and the team of Pearl-Nakorn Silachai to help the sick, the elderly, and the blind, along with children. The current is still strong. In some places, helicopters have to be used to deliver food. Today, the water police rushed through the water current to help the villagers of Ban Ko Sai, Mae Sai Subdistri ct, Mae Sai District. The rescue unit of the Por Tek Tung Foundation continues to help evacuate people and the sick, the elderly, the disabled, including dogs and cats in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province to a safe place. They also prepare cooked food and medicine to distribute to people at the kitchen and distribute to villagers who are still in their homes. Another team that rushed to the area to help the victims was Lek-Fanden Charoenthanakorn and his Jai Thueng Jai team. When they went to Chiang Rai, they did not hesitate to help the villagers. Although the water currents were still quite strong yesterday, the Jai Thueng Jai team did not back down. Today (13 September) they traveled to the villagers who have been stuck in their homes for 2 days and distributed food. In Chiang Rai city this morning, Surat Thani Kusonsattha Foundation took boats out to delive r food to people in their homes and provided assistance to evacuate them from their homes to safety. In addition to helping people, animals are also creatures that need help in this flood crisis. Rescuers are using boats to search houses in case villagers ask for help in the middle of the night, but they found a dog stuck in the grass.
