UDON THANI: The grandmother of Bank Lester, a recently deceased individual, is preparing to bring his ashes back to Udon Thani Province, expressing her belief that her grandson’s spirit will remain to care for her forever. This sentiment was shared during the cremation ceremony, attended by family and friends, where concerns over contractual obligations with influencers were also addressed.
According to Thai News Agency, Mrs. Phonthip, aged 80, and Mr. Kanthas Phongpaiboonwet, also known as Kan Chom Phalang, spoke to the media following the ceremony at Wat Yu Dee Bamrung Tham. They revealed that while Mrs. Phonthip remains connected to someone named Kiew, who left a LINE group, others who attended the funeral had already offered financial support to Bank’s family, helping them build a house in Udon Thani. This support enabled Bank to fulfill his dream of providing a home for his grandmother and ensuring her well-being, even if not completely realized.
Kan Chom Phalang emphasized the importance of influencers maintaining their contractual commitments, urging them to document financial transactions through a LINE group and sign written agreements. He highlighted the case of Mr. M Ekkachat, who facilitated the payment for Bank’s grandmother’s house, resulting in a temporary bail order from the court.
Mrs. Phonthip plans to return to Udon Thani with her son-in-law, bringing Bank’s ashes with her. She recalled a heartfelt conversation with Bank, where he promised to care for her, and expressed her concern over unresolved debts for flower garlands, urging creditors to come forward. She believes Bank’s spirit remains with her, sharing meals with him in spirit, often moved to tears.
