According to Thai News Agency, the Chumphon Tourist Police apprehended the couple, who exhibited behavior commonly associated with drug use. This led to the request for a urine test, which was conducted at Phato Hospital. The test confirmed the presence of methamphetamine, a Category 1 narcotic, resulting in charges against the couple for unauthorized drug use.
The Phato Police Station officers in Chumphon Province recently escorted the couple, appearing visibly worn out, to the Lang Suan Provincial Court for further legal proceedings. The Thai wife expressed regret over the incident and confessed that their frequent quarrels were primarily fueled by her husband's jealousy.
