Last night in Thung Khru District, a trailer truck hit an electric wire, causing the pole to fall, damaging four local cars and one house. The incident occurred in Soi Wat Bua Phan, along the Kanchanaphisek Expressway, Phra Pradaeng, Thung Khru Subdistrict, Thung Khru District, Bangkok. A white Hino brand trailer truck carrying a container was found, while a nearby electric pole had fallen and rested on the container. There was also a white Honda car with an electric wire hanging from its roof, causing sparks to burn the roof of the car. Next was a white Honda motorcycle that was overturned and badly damaged. A black Honda Wave motorcycle with red stripes was also overturned and damaged. In addition, a house was crushed by a large electric pole, causing the roof to break and form a large hole. The owners of the motorcycle and the house were not injured. Mr. Nanthanat, 40 years old, the owner of the damaged car, said that he was driving behind the trailer truck before the trailer turned right and hit the e lectric wires, causing the pole to fall and the electric wires to fall on the car and start a fire in the back of the car. He sat for a while, afraid that there was an electric current, before trying to kick the door open with his foot until he was sure it was safe, then he quickly got out of the car. Thung Kru Police Station officers took Mr. Phakhin, 39, in for questioning.
