Pulo River Permanent Dike Project Accelerated

15 officers have been deployed to speed up a permanent dike construction, precisely at the Pulo River connecting channel, Jatipadang Urban Village, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-department Head, Holi Susanto stated that his side already gets residents’ permission to smoothen the project. Moreover, materials will be sent manually due to narrow access.

“It has been ongoing since yesterday. And today has entered foundation excavation stage,” he expressed, Tuesday (1/15).

South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-department’s Maintenance Section Head, Firmansyah added that the foundation width will have 80 centimeters, concrete with two meters height and upper part with six meters width.

“This work is targeted to be finished for ten days,” he said.
