Pertamina to involve one thousand MSMEs in virtual 2021 SMEXPO

Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas giant PT Pertamina (Persero) will hold a virtual 2021 SMEXPO exhibition that will hopefully be participated in by up to one thousand micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The company’s Acting Senior Vice President Corporate Communication & Investor Relations, Fajriyah Usman, stated that the exhibition will be launched along with the Proud of Indonesian Products National Movement in East Kalimantan on October 12-14, 2021.

“The public and MSMEs can participate in the exhibition after registering on smexpo.pertamina.com. The registration process is quite fast. In less than five minutes, people can already log in and start shopping,” Usman noted in a statement received here on Monday.

Thus, two registration options as a seller and as a buyer are available, according to Usman.

In addition, the exhibition provides a special feature called “Wholesale Products.” Buyers can make a large number of purchases at lower prices according to the terms and conditions on the feature.

“Apart from shopping, various interesting events at the exhibition comprise coaching sessions, business matching, SMEXPO Live Show, and other events enlivened by various Indonesian artists, for instance, Kunto Adjie, Endank Soekamti, Novia Bachmid, and so on,” Usman revealed.

The public can also enjoy the event through the YouTube channel of Pertamina, Kementerian BUMN (State-Owned Enterprises Ministry), and Gen UMKM.

Moreover, people can access the social media of @pertamina and @gen_umkm for latest information on the event.

Furthermore, PT Pertamina (Persero) also conducts an offline 2021 SMEXPO Show Case at the Kota Kasablanka Mall, Jakarta, on October 15-17, 2021.

The 2021 Pertamina SMEXPO demonstrates the corporation’s consistency in promoting and supporting national economic growth in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals.

In addition, the exhibition is being held to implement the Environmental, Social, and Governance-based programs across the company’s operational areas.
