Mobile clinic to begin COVID vaccinations in North Jakarta July 13

Jakarta (ANTARA) – A mobile clinic operated by the North Jakarta Health Office will begin distributing COVID-19 vaccines in the area from Tuesday (July 13, 2021).

“The aim of the mobile vaccination clinic is to bring the services closer to the people so that they can be reached directly,” said head of the North Jakarta Health Office, Yudi Dimyati, in Jakarta on Monday.

He said the clinic will be operated from vehicles donated by PT Astra Daihatsu Motor. The vehicles are currently at the mayor’s office and will distribute vaccinations to people living in densely populated areas, he added.

Each unit of the mobile clinic will be able to serve 250 people per day, with two units capable of vaccinating up to 500 people, Dimyati said.

The vaccination drive will also involve medical workers from the health office, some of whom will attend to any health inquiries that people may have, he added.

Dimyati further said the North Jakarta government has prepared a scheme to manage the vaccination process as well as the flow of queues, in order to ensure that there will be no crowding.

We are hopeful that those who are yet to receive their shots come to the mobile clinic as the services will be given free of charge, Dimyati added
