Israeli soldiers assault Jenin resident, disrupt Palestinians movement

Israeli forces Tuesday night assaulted a Palestinian man from Jenin at a checkpoint on the Jenin-Nazareth main road, said security sources.

The man in question was identified as Mahmoud Saadi from Jenin. Israeli soldiers beat him up and confiscated his identity card at a checkpoint near al-Jalama village.

According to sources the soldiers stopped several cars at the checkpoint, inspected identity cards and interrogated others. Sound bombs were also hurled at vehicles and passengers.
