Indonesia’s flagship products promoted in mall in South Africa

Jakarta Indonesia’s flagship products are being promoted in one of the largest malls in South Africa, Sandton City, by holding a week-long in-store promotion on September 14-20.

The promotion was conducted by the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in Johannesburg and supported by the Indonesian Embassy in Pretoria, according to a written statement issued by the Indonesian Embassy and received here on Saturday.

ITPC Johannesburg and the Indonesian Embassy in Pretoria showcased Indonesian products that already penetrated the South African market, including instant noodle products, biscuits, coconut drinks, medicines and other pharmaceutical products, beauty and hair care products, tires and motor vehicle accessories, furniture, and some other products.

“Our goal in holding an in-store promotion is to increase awareness among people of South Africa on Indonesian products in South Africa,” according to Salman Al Farisi, the Indonesian ambassador to South Africa.
