Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement System in Jakarta Intensified

Jakarta Provincial Government along with Polda Metro Jaya keeps intensifying the implementation of electronic traffic law enforcement (ETLE).

City Secretary, Saefullah recorded that 250 people have violated the traffic rules every day since the initial launch of the ETLE. But now its number has decreased up to 25 people or 70 percent.

“This is an advance to minimize traffic violations,” he expressed, at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (3/14).

Nevertheless, the city continues to support them by deploying officers of Jakarta Transportation Agency at each intersection point.

“But the one who made the ticket is the police,” he said.
