Dump Truck Wash Facility At Bantargebang Inaugurated

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan has inaugurated a 24-hour dump truck wash in the Bantargebang Landfill, Bekasi, West Java, Tuesday (1/15).

It is able to wash 16 trucks simultaneously that only takes between three to five minutes.

“We need this facility to maintain cleanliness of our truck after transporting garbage,” expressed Anies when he reviewed the Strategic Area event related to optimization of Bantargebang Landfill, at Bantargebang, Bekasi, West Java, Tuesday (1/15).

He explained that cleanliness of the equipment or facilities and infrastructure must be part of Key Performance Indicator (KPI).

“I hope it can be used well and do washing routinely,” he stated.

In that occasion, he also took his time to inaugurate the Al-Ikhlas Mosque in the Bantargebang area.

Jakarta Environment Department Head, Isnawa Adji expresed that the mosque was built on a 454-square meter land.

“It can accommodate 200 pilgrims,” he stated.
