COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Depok reaches 58 percent

Depok, West Java The number of recipients of the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination in Depok City, West Java, reached 943,001 people, or 58.44 percent of the total targeted 1.6 million.

According to the city government’s press release received here on Saturday, the number of fully vaccinated people in Depok stood at 391,200 people, or 24.24 percent of the vaccination target.

Head of the Disease Prevention and Control Division of the Depok Health Service, Umi Zakiati, confirmed that in the group of medical workers, 17,009 people had received the first dose of vaccination, 15,625 had received the second shot, and 7,544 medical workers were administered the booster vaccine.

In the target group of public service workers, the first dose of vaccination was administered to 283,577 people, while the second dose of vaccination was given to 99,571 people.

“There is also one person who received the third dose of vaccination,” Zakiati noted.
